WOW how fast is this term going?!  Our apologies for the lateness of this newsletter but it has been such a hectic few weeks and we appreciate you need notice to book off work to come and support our children.

SPORTS DAY

Sports Day will be held on Fri 29th May and parents are invited to come along and cheer on our children from 1.15pm onwards.  Glass School children will join us to add to the fun.  Please note that school lunch options that day are hot dog in a bun or vegetarian sausage in a bun.  Please discuss the options with your child/children before Friday.

PLEASE NOTE: NO NUTS / STRAWBERRIES / RASPBERRIES TO BE BROUGHT TO SCHOOL THAT DAY.

TRANSITION WEEK

Our P7’s will transition for a few days to The Gordon Schools week commencing Mon 22nd June.

PRIZEGIVING

Prizegiving will take place on Tue 30th June at 2pm.  We look forward to seeing you all there.  Can I ask that you return cups/shields to school as soon as possible please.

OUTDOOR FUN AT GLASS SCHOOL

We are having our Wet Outdoor Play afternoon again this year up at Glass School on Wed 1st July.  Can you make sure you send in a change of clothes, towel and hairbrush in a waterproof bag with the children that day so that we don’t have any soggy bottoms going back on the bus.  Permission forms will be sent home shortly.  Please return them to school as soon as possible.

Finally, we would like to say a huge thank you to all our parents and Friends of Cairney for supporting our children and school so well.  Without your support we wouldn’t be able to achieve all that we do, it is very much appreciated.

We would like to wish everyone a happy and safe summer holiday and look forward to seeing you again in August.
